Why Digital X-Ray Test?

CLINICAL INFORMATION

As science keeps advancing steadily, so does the technological advancements in the field of medical research (such as Bio-Medical Instrumentation). Apart from Clinical Assessments performed by the skill and experience of a Physician, correspondingly - the progression in non-invasive medical tests is also achieving its landmark by contributing its part enormously (as supporting evidence in the medical arena example ECG, ECHO, Imaging Studies like - Ultrasounds, MRI, CT Scans etc, that helps in the diagnosis of, many such health issues) that helps to understand better with supporting evidence and thus aids to arrive at a conclusion for a definitive Diagnosis (from a differential diagnosis) at a quick possible time. X-Rays (radiographic study) are a type of electromagnetic wave radiation. X-ray imaging creates pictures (with contrasting shades of black and white) of the inside of the human body in a traditional photographic film (X-Ray sheet). They are non-invasive and can be produced instantly, it remains useful in assessing early screening in many pathologies (Emergency Diagnosis) mainly related to bone fractures, respiratory and abdominal pathologies, blocked vessels etc, and also help in Prognosis – Monitor Treatment. The traditional photographic films are also now replaced, digitally. Due to scientific innovations these digital sensors (sensors are connected to a computer and directly captures data during the patient’s examination) finds a better alternative as a substitute since it has advantages like bypassing chemical processing, it uses a tiny dose of ionizing radiation, it has time efficiency, it has the ability to digitally transfer and enhance images (captures clearer and more accurately) and much more. Therefore these Digital X-Ray test, results helps the physician in pathologies such as pneumonia, emphysema, lung cancer, fluid and/or air collection around the lungs, peritoneum, pericardium etc, by the guidance of an ultrasound.

General Instructions:

Sample Requirement: Specimen - As guided by the physician. Test Preparation: None.

NOTE - Sample for specimen collections may vary based on the patient’s condition/cases according to the patient’s presenting complaints/signs or symptoms:

SPECIMEN REQUIREMENT (Special or Rare Cases) - As instructed and guided by Physician / Clinician / Pathologist / as per Laboratory’s requirements, according to procedures and protocols.

This Multi-Specialty Clinical Referral Laboratory RTDIAGNOSTICS provides precise and accurate tests with an extensive range of testing services to the medical centres to help in the diagnosis and identification of pathology in the test specimens for infectious diseases and also to evaluate the function of organ systems of the patient. It prevents further complications and helps to stabilize and restore health to near normalcy at the earliest without delay.
