BLOOD SUGAR (R):

Blood Sugar (R) is a random blood sugar test taken randomly a day without any schedule. This test used to screen random Blood Glucose levels. This test helps to ensure Diabetes Mellitus. Medical professionals suggest this blood test when a person experiences symptoms of diabetes.

CLINICAL INFORMATION :

This test is usually done for the medical diagnosis of certain abnormalities such as pancreatitis, pancreatic cancers, and an underactive thyroid. Low levels of glucose also indicate self-administration of overuse of insulin dose, starvation, Addison’s disease, insulinoma, kidney diseases, etc. This test is suggested for patients with symptoms such as increased thirst, frequent urination, fatigue, shortness of breath, stomach pain, fruity breath odor, dry mouth, nausea, and vomiting, etc. Other associated tests include the O-T method, GOD-POD method, hexokinase method, kit methods, spectrometric methods, chromatography methods, etc.
